What it is
About Rollerball Arcade
When the Shadow Ball struck down Hector, the Neon City of Light lost its colour and its power. Getting either back means going through twenty-odd chapters of things that want to catch you, and the city is not subtle about which of those it is rooting for.
It is four games sharing one grid. Rollerball is the classic runner: read the enemy pattern, drift by a millisecond and collect what is left. Neon Falls turns gravity against you and drops you through laser barriers. SLIDRZ is the precise one, where you calculate a bounce, hit the flippers and clear an arena. And the Base Builder lets you lay out your own hazards, earn while you are away, and raid other people.
Everything except the raiding works offline, and the campaign and the endless modes never ask for a connection at all.
Design notes
Why it works the way it does
Four modes, one city
A grid runner, a vertical survival drop, a bumper-physics puzzle and a base builder. They share a world and an economy and almost nothing else.
Hector’s campaign
Twenty-plus chapters that unlock his abilities a piece at a time, with a cast of hunters who each want you dead in their own particular way.
Build it, then defend it
Lay out your own arena hazards for passive rewards while you are away, then go and raid somebody else’s.
Ten-plus ball skins
Cyberhex, Starforge, Supernova, Inferno, 8Ball, with particle trails and background themes to match. None of them make you faster.

Questions
Things people ask
Is it free?
Yes, ad supported, with an optional purchase to remove ads.
Does it work offline?
The full campaign and the endless arcade modes do. Only the PvP raids need a connection.
Is it on iPhone?
Not yet — it is Android only today. Join the playtest and you will hear the day that changes.
Are the power-ups pay to win?
Shrink, Slow Motion, Score Multiplier and Invincibility are all earned in play, and the cosmetics change nothing but the look.
