You may read, link to, quote and share anything on randomgamestudios.com. The text and the artwork are the studio’s own work and remain its copyright, but the press kit material is explicitly cleared for use in coverage — see the press page.

The games

Each game has its own terms, because each game does something different. The full list is here. Those terms govern your use of that game; this page governs the website.

The playtest programme

Taking part is voluntary and free, and you can stop at any time by sending one email.

• Pre-release builds are unfinished. They will have bugs, progress may be wiped between builds, and a build may be withdrawn without notice.
• Do not redistribute a test build. Store rules on closed testing do not permit it, and it puts the release at risk for everybody.
• Your feedback can be used. By sending it you allow us to act on it, quote it and build it into the game, with no payment and no obligation on either side. You keep the right to be credited — say so and you will be.
• There is no NDA. You are free to talk about, stream and post about anything you are testing.

We do not pay testers and we do not accept payment from them. Both would break the store rules the programme exists to satisfy, and both would make the feedback worth less.

Liability

This website is provided as it is, with no warranty that it is accurate or continuously available. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Governing law

The laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having jurisdiction. Consumers keep the mandatory protections of their own country’s law.
