Four modes, and they reward opposite instincts
Rollerball, Neon Falls, SLIDRZ and the base builder share a city and an economy. What they do not share is what "playing well" means.
Updated 31 August 2026
Treating all four as one game is the quickest way to plateau in all of them. They ask for genuinely different things.
| Mode | What it rewards |
|---|---|
| Rollerball | Pattern reading and small, late movements. Committing early is what kills runs. |
| Neon Falls | Reaction over planning. You cannot read far ahead when gravity sets the pace. |
| SLIDRZ | Patience. It is the only mode where standing still and calculating is correct. |
| Base Builder | Thinking about someone else. You are designing for a raider, not for yourself. |
The economy is shared
- Time in whichever mode you enjoy funds progress in the ones you do not.
- Cosmetics change nothing but the look — no skin makes you faster.
- The campaign and the endless modes work offline. Only the raids need a connection.
Is this wrong?
Then say so
These are written from the games’ own balance references, but a number that was true in one build can stop being true in the next. If something here does not match what you are seeing, that is worth knowing.
